MOTORISTS coming from their holidays will face additional expenses as South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway will implement price hike starting January 1, 2026.
On the announcement made by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), the approved rate adjustment was made to “ensure the continued operations, maintenance, and improvements” of the expressways “for a safer, faster, and more convenient travel experience” of motorists.
From the current rates at SLEX, there will be an additional P10, P21, and P31 for Class 1, 2, and 3, respectively for the Alabang to Calamba section; and P3,P5, and P8 increase at the Calamba to Sto. Tomas section.
Meanwhile, for STAR Tollway Section 1, the rate increase is P5, P9, and P14 for Class 1, 2, and 3, respectively; and P53, P106, and P159 rate hike for Section 2.
The new toll rates starting January 1, 2026 are as follows:

Alabang to Calamba:
- Class 1 – P126
- Class 2 – P253
- Class 3 – P379
Calamba to Sto. Tomas:
- Class 1 – P34
- Class 2 – P68
- Class 3 – P102
STAR TOLLWAY
Sto. Tomas to Lipa (Section 1):
- Class 1 – P60
- Class 2 – P119
- Class 3 – P179
Lipa to Batangas (Section 2):
- Class 1 – P53
- Class 2 – P106
- Class 3 – P159
