SHERRA De Juan’s boyfriend and brother were questioned for more than seven hours by investigators from the Quezon City Police District’s Special Investigation Team as authorities intensified efforts to locate the missing bride-to-be.

In separate rooms at Camp Karingal, Sherra’s boyfriend, Mark Arjay Reyes, and her brother, Darie De Juan, underwent simultaneous questioning from around 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. Investigators focused on possible reasons behind Sherra’s disappearance, including whether she may have left on her own or was taken.

Darie said police also asked if the family noticed anything unusual in Sherra’s behavior prior to her disappearance.

Reyes said he is ready to face any investigation to clear any suspicion against him.

Authorities said the Romblon Police is also assisting in the search, amid speculation that Sherra may have returned to her home province. Relatives there, however, denied seeing her.

Nearly a week after Sherra went missing, Reyes and her family said they have searched areas across Fairview, Bulacan, and Caloocan, including possible hospitals, but have yet to find her.

Darie added that two salesladies at Fairview Center Mall claimed they saw Sherra on the day she was reported missing.

Police are set to take sworn statements from the salesladies. Sherra’s laptop is also undergoing forensic examination, while her cellphone was turned over to investigators last Sunday.

“Ang sabi po sa amin marami po nakakalat na personnel on the ground to check po possible CCTV,” Reyes said.

As the search continues, authorities said the reward for information leading to Sherra’s whereabouts has been raised to ₱50,000.
