CUP OF JOE has been named Spotify Philippines’ most-listened-to local artist for 2025, with their hit “Multo” also taking the top spot as the country’s most-streamed local song.

Spotify released its annual rankings on Thursday, placing Cup of Joe at No. 1 across top local artists, top groups, and top songs. December Avenue followed in the artists category, ahead of Arthur Nery, Dionela, and TJ Monterde. In the groups list, December Avenue also ranked second, trailed by Ben&Ben, Parokya ni Edgar, and Silent Sanctuary.

“Multo,” a synth-pop track about memories that refuse to fade, led the top songs list. Earl Agustin’s “Tibok” placed second, followed by Dionela’s “Marilag.” Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali,” boosted by its feature in “Ang Mutya ng Section E,” ranked fourth, while Hellmerry’s “My Day” completed the top five.

Spotify also unveiled the year’s most popular podcasts. “Barangay Love Stories” from Barangay LS 97.1 topped the list, followed by “Papa Dudut Stories.” “Will Talks” ranked third, “Dear MOR” placed fourth, and “Sitio Bangungot – Pinoy Horror Stories for Sleep Podcast” took fifth.

By genre, “Barangay Love Stories” led love-and-relationship shows, while “Sitio Bangungot” dominated horror. “The KoolPals” claimed the top comedy title, and Dani Barretto’s “The Bare It All Podcast” was recognized as the top wellness podcast. “Chicks 2 Go” earned the top new group podcast award, and Sophie Prime’s “Dagok Time!” was named the top new solo-host podcast.
