EXPECT a generally fair weather with chances of rain in the afternoon and evening today, Christmas Eve, in Metro Manila as advised by PAGASA. 

According to the weather bureau, both the northeast monsoon or amihan and easterlies continue to affect the country, bringing in rain showers. 

Cloudy skies with light rains are to be expected in Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora. 

While easterlies will bring scattered rains and even thunderstorms in Quezon province and Bicol region. 

Fair weather is forecasted for the rest of Luzon, including Palawan, as well as Visayas ang Mindanao. However, there also remains the possibility of localized thunderstorms.
