THE computer and files used by former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral were turned over to the Office of the Ombudsman amid the ongoing flood control corruption investigation.

DPWH said the device and documents were utilized by Cabral during her 10-year tenure in the department. The turnover was made in compliance with a Subpoena Duces Tecum issued by the Ombudsman.

Cabral served as Undersecretary for Planning and Public-Private Partnership from 2014 until her resignation earlier this year after being implicated in the alleged scheme.

She was found dead last week after reportedly falling into a ravine along Kennon Road in Tuba, Benguet.
