MALACAÑANG declared government work for December 29, 2025, and January 2, 2026 suspended to allow employees to fully celebrate New Year’s activities.

According to Memorandum Circular 111, the suspension will also give workers time to travel to and from different regions of the country.

Agencies providing basic, vital, and health services, as well as emergency preparedness and response, will remain operational during the suspension.

Private companies and offices are free to decide their own work schedules during these dates at the discretion of their management.
