THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) rolled out upgraded features for its “May Huli Ka” website, the portal where vehicle owners can monitor violations captured through the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).
Motorists can now access clearer video proof of their recorded violations, file disputes directly through the site, and link multiple vehicles to one account. The MMDA said these improvements were developed to offer greater transparency and a smoother user experience.
The agency also signed an agreement with GCash to allow drivers to settle fines digitally, with a P7 convenience charge.
MMDA Chairman Don Artes added that the agency is preparing to install speed-detection tools on AI-driven cameras to help curb severe road accidents, especially at night.
“Pag sa gabi nangyayari ang aksidente, talagang literal madugo so maiiwasan ‘yan siguro pag meron nang speed radar ‘yung ating mga cameras,” he said.
The MMDA further warned that heavier traffic is expected by mid-December as holiday shopping peaks.
