Nazareno 2026 schedule and Traslacion route released

THE schedule for Nazareno 2026 was released in a press conference led by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Quiapo Church rector and parish priest Rev. Fr. Jade Licuanan today, November 17.

According to Quiapo Church officials, the celebration of Nazareno 2026 will start on December 31 and culminate with the traditional Traslacion on January 9.

Here are the activities for Nazareno 2026:

  • December 31 to January 8 – novena masses at the Quiapo Church
  • December 31 – thanksgiving procession
  • January 2 to 6 – barangay visitation at the Quiapo District
  • January 2 – first Friday of the year masses at the Quiapo Church
  • January 3 – Nazareno replicas and estandarte blessing
  • January 7 – Pabihis sa Poong Jesus Nazareno at the Quiapo Church
  • January 7 – Pahalik at the Quirino Grandstand
  • January 8 to 9 – hourly masses at the Quiapo Church
  • January 8 – Panalangin sa Takipsilim at the Quirino Grandstand
  • January 9 – Misa Mayor at the Quirino Grandstand
  • January 9 – Traslacion from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church

Quiapo Church officials also shared at the press conference the route for Traslacion or the procession of the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno.

According to them, they modified the andas or the carriage carrying the image to make it steerable for a smoother procession.

Here is the route of the Traslacion that will start at the Quirino Grandstand:

  • Left to Katigbak Drive
  • Right to Padre Burgos Street through Finance Road
  • Straight to Ayala Boulevard
  • Left to Palanca
  • Right to Quezon Boulevard
  • Right to Arlegui Street
  • Right to Fraternal Street
  • Right to Vergara Street
  • Left to Duque de Alba Street
  • Left to Castillejos Street
  • Left to Farnecio Street
  • Right to Arlegui Street
  • Left to Nepomuceno Street
  • Left to Concepcion Aguila Street
  • Right to Carcer Street
  • Right to Hidalgo Street through Plaza del Carmen
  • Left to Bilibid Viejo through Gil Puyat
  • Right to J.P. de Guzman Street 
  • Right to Hidalgo Street
  • Left to Quezon Boulevard 
  • Right to Palanca Street through under Quezon Bridge 
  • Right to Villalobos Street through Plaza Miranda going to Quiapo Church
