Malacanan declares #WalangPasok because of #UwanPH

CLASS and work suspensions for November 10 and 11 were announced by the Office of the President due to the inclement weather brought about by Super Typhoon Uwan. This was made through Executive Order No. 106 approved by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

Government work for Monday, November 10 is suspended in National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, and VIII, with the exception for essential workers, including emergency and disaster responders. 

Meanwhile, classes in all levels for both Monday and Tuesday (November 11) is suspended in the following regions:

  • NCR)
  • CAR
  • Region I
  • Region II
  • Region III
  • Region IV-A
  • Region IV-B
  • Region V
  • Region VI
  • Region VII
  • Region VIII
  • Negros Island Region

According to the Malacañan Palace, regions not included in the EO may implement localized suspension of classes and/or work through their respective local chief executives.

Private companies and offices may also suspend work upon the discretion of their management.
