One RFID for all tollways – what you need to know

Share:

EVER felt confused on which RFID account you need to load when going out of town? Yes, we’ve all been there. But now, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) fixed that and here is how you can use just one RFID account for all the tollways in Luzon.

In a Facebook post, DOTr announced that they teamed up with the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) and RFID service providers, Autosweep and Easytrip, to launch the One RFID, All Tollways.

Under the program, motorists can choose to have one operational RFID account that will allow them to pass through all tollways in Luzon for convenience and that is achievable in three steps:

  1. Choose a preferred RFID service provider and register on their website. QR codes are also available.
  2. Have the unselected RFID sticker removed at authorized service centers.
  3. Load up the chosen RFID account to gain access to all Luzon tollways.

The enrollment to the One RFID, All Tollways program and removal of the unchosen RFID sticker is free of charge.

For new subscribers to the RFID system, they can just go straight to the service center of their preferred RFID service provider and have them install one RFID sticker on the vehicle.

The DOTr clarified that the One RFID, All Tollways program is completely optional. Should the motorists prefer having two separate RFID accounts for tollways under Autosweep and Easytrip, they may choose to do so.

In the comments section of the announcement, DOTr assured motorists that the load of the unselected RFID may be refunded or transferred to the preferred RFID account.

However, DOTr said that the new program is only applicable to individual accounts at the moment. They are eyeing on extending the program to corporate or group accounts by early 2026.

The One RFID, All Tollways program is already in effect starting October 21.
